Whom is personal Training for?

I often am asked the question “who is personal training for”. Most people who have never tried Personal Training honestly think that it is hard and uncomfortable; yes, of course there is an element of being pushed to achieve your results. The fact is with personal training you will be taken to your limits however, you will do it in a safe and encouraging way.

I have also come across a lot of negativity surrounding Personal Training some comments include: “oh no I am fine training on my own, that’s just for people trying to lose weight” this is simply not the case and a complimentary session with us would be a great way to experience why! I have also heard “I don’t need to be motivated”, ok so this is up for discussion! Personal training is great for motivation, which is great to get you doing things you would not normally do. Those who are self motivated and do personal training would agree how great is it to have a session where you don’t know what’s coming next, it’s spontaneous and exciting for your body and mind, someone is there to guide you through the exercise and assist you with the correct technique and monitor your progress.

If you are new to the gym environment it can be intimidating, having someone there to show you how the cardio machine’s work and how to use weights gives you the control to feel comfortable with your new environment. In addition, having an exercise plan tailored for your goals is brilliant.

Every person is built differently, as a Personal Trainer that is the best thing about training someone. As trainers, we need to give you safe and rewarding workouts, and take into consideration injuries inactive muscles, posture, range of motion and design sessions that get you the results.

So who is Personal Training for?

Answer: Pretty much everyone

Whether you are looking to:

  • Maintain your fitness
  • Lose weight
  • Build muscle
  • Learn about your body
  • Get more flexible
  • Get fitter
  • Tone up
  • Get motivated
  • Rehabilitate body parts
  • Improve lifestyle

The list goes on!

Personal training would be beneficial for you.

So if you have not tried Personal Training before. Give it ago. Why not? What do you have to lose?

  1. Hahaha those Cat Curls were hilarious! I would need a pretty fat cat to get gains from that 😛

Love this article too, personal trainers are awesome and everyone should give them a go before they rule them out and think “oh I don’t need one”. Its not about need, its about utilising great, knowledgeable resources.

At the Kickass Club we are like personal trainers for businesses and lifestyle entrepreneurs. In crucial areas like business and health and fitness, it is really silly not to seek help from the experts!
